As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. This driving position requires a valid driver's license. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, people-first culture through teamwork and integrity.

Pre-Employment Requirement: Valid Driver's License - AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123)

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, tenants, visitors, and vendors at a commercial storage property by carrying out site-specific procedures, access policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of storage areas, parking areas, access points, common areas, and the property perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access activity and observe individuals entering or leaving the location, helping to deter unauthorized access, trespassing, theft, and property damage.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
