As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol CPR Response in San Jose, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government transportation location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, assist visitors and staff, and communicate observations with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and employees while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, administrative spaces, and surrounding perimeters to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout assigned areas, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, and interactions accurately and promptly, and maintain professional communication with transit personnel, emergency responders, and the public.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• At this site, there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
