Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver Residential in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Driving Patrol Officer at a residential community, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support residents and visitors with exceptional customer service. You will communicate observations, respond to security-related concerns, and represent Allied Universal’s caring, reliable, and integrity-driven culture through teamwork.

Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and property perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, maintain awareness of the residential location, and report unusual conditions or maintenance-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
