Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Private School Patrol in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at an educational location, you will monitor and patrol campus areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond professionally to security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting students, staff, and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and campus community members while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, athletic facilities, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and applicable laws.
• Monitor access to campus locations, verify authorized entry when required, and report suspicious activity, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
