What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to government personnel, visitors, and the public by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of traffic management facilities, surrounding grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or potential concerns.
• Monitor access points, vehicle and pedestrian activity, and restricted areas in accordance with established post orders and government-site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, traffic-related disruptions, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and interactions, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
