Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol in Delray Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Residential, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol commercial real estate and residential locations, helping to maintain a welcoming, secure environment for residents, visitors, and tenants. You will conduct routine rounds, support access control and badge procedures, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, tenants, visitors, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial and residential property grounds, common areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed by site procedures.
• Monitor access activity and assist with visitor, contractor, and delivery protocols in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with property management, residents, and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, observations, and daily activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
