Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Driver Badge Control in Delray Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Access Control Officer supporting a government location. You will manage access points, verify badges and credentials, monitor activity, conduct routine patrols, and provide professional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Monitor entry points and verify authorized access through established credentials, visitor logs, and/or access-control systems.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entry points, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Document incidents, unusual activity, and access-related concerns accurately and communicate relevant information to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
