Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Entry Access in Delray Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a healthcare-related location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and vendor activity, and support site access procedures in accordance with established guidelines.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations accurately and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• Guard card is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
