Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Alarm Dispatch in Altamonte Springs, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an unarmed Security Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial services location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs and reports.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific emergency response procedures.
• Communicate observations and incidents to appropriate personnel and Allied Universal leadership, and complete required documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 3 years of experience as a Military Police Officer, Corrections Officer, or Armed Security Professional, or be a certified law enforcement graduate.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
