Job Description

As a Security Officer Reception Services in Wall Township, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer at a utilities location, you will be the welcoming presence for visitors and employees, supporting access control, visitor management, and security-related communications. You will help maintain an orderly environment by monitoring entry activity, responding professionally to questions and concerns, and reporting unusual activity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and utility customers at a front desk location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Monitor access to the facility by greeting visitors, verifying identification and authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining accurate visitor records.
• Answer and direct incoming calls, provide general site information, and communicate visitor arrivals or concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Monitor front desk activity, report unusual or suspicious activity, and maintain clear communication with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
