What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or clients while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain awareness of activity around the location.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and documentation regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities, while complying with applicable laws, licensing requirements, and Allied Universal policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be a graduate of a Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or equivalent.
• MUST BE RETIRED LAW ENFORCEMENT WITH RPO.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
