Conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide professional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at government facilities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures; report unauthorized access attempts and suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; contact appropriate emergency personnel and/or site representatives as required.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation; communicate observations and concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
