Job Description

As a Armed Security Officer Perimeter Patrol in Temple, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to customers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail grocery location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including situations involving suspected theft, disorderly conduct, or medical emergencies.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the store, parking areas, loading areas, exterior perimeter, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious conditions, hazards, and policy violations to site management and/or appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation regarding incidents, patrols, observations, and other security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
