Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver with Active Clearance in Sunnyvale, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This driving position supports a mission-focused environment through routine patrols and professional reporting. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, unauthorized access, and security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials in accordance with site requirements while maintaining accurate logs and documentation of visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations and coordinate with site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare clear incident reports and maintain awareness of changing conditions throughout the assigned location.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
