Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Alarm Coordination in Sugar Land, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to alarms and security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving position offers the opportunity to support a professional environment through clear communication, integrity, teamwork, and reliable service.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, employee, and contractor credentials in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting observations.
• Complete required reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
