Job Description

As a Armed Security Officer Response Patrol Driver in Spring, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a busy retail grocery location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license and Texas Level III Armed Certification. Bring integrity, teamwork, and a caring approach to a role with a reliable and innovative team.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to customers, employees, and visitors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail store, parking areas, loading zones, and surrounding perimeter to help deter theft, trespassing, and other unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical events, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and contacting appropriate emergency services when needed.
• Maintain readiness and responsible control of assigned firearm and related equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, and Allied Universal policies.
• Document incidents, observations, and unusual activity accurately, and communicate relevant information to site management and responding personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
