Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time in Shippingport, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage entry and exit points, verify credentials, monitor visitor activity, and maintain access records. You will remain visible to help deter incidents while delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

5:00AM-1:00PM / 1:00PM-9:00PM / 9:00PM-5:00AM Schedules Available - Officer will be scheduled 40 Hours with 2 Days Off

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial construction location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorized access, issue visitor and contractor passes, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
• Screen incoming deliveries, vehicles, tools, and materials in accordance with site procedures, and direct authorized personnel to appropriate locations.
• Respond to access-control concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, perimeter locations, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized entry and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
