As an unarmed Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and respond to alarms and access-control needs. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating information through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and credential requirements in accordance with site policies, reporting irregularities and documenting observations as required.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs while maintaining a professional presence in a dynamic technology environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
