Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol in Santa Rosa, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide courteous assistance to patients, visitors, and staff. You will communicate clearly, respond to evolving situations, and support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facility interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, hazards, or access concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and escalating concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, wayfinding, and adherence to facility entry procedures.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and other security-related activities in accordance with site and Allied Universal reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
