As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, drivers, visitors, and vendors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, manage visitor and driver check-in procedures, and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Control access to warehouse, office, yard, and restricted operational areas in accordance with site requirements and established protocols.
• Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; promptly report observations through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, business areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Supervisory experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
