Job Description

As a Security Officer Dispatch Signal Coordination in Richardson, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Dispatch Officer supporting a commercial real estate location, you will monitor alarms, access control activity, and incoming communications; coordinate responses to security-related incidents; and provide professional customer service. You will use technology to document activity, communicate with site personnel, and help maintain an organized environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors at a commercial real estate location by carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor incoming calls, alarms, radio traffic, and/or electronic systems; document activity and dispatch personnel or appropriate resources according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating relevant information to site contacts and responding personnel.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, shift records, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as assigned, reporting observed maintenance concerns, access issues, and other security-related conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
