Job Description

As a Security Officer Overnight Diagnostic Center Patrol Driver in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, donors, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the healthcare location, including interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, documenting observations and reporting unusual or unauthorized activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical-related situations, and critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting emergency services when needed.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift documentation while maintaining a professional presence in a healthcare environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
