Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication to tenants, visitors, and staff while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-focused, and integrity-driven values.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or property management personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building common areas, entrances, parking areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with property policies, helping to maintain orderly entry and exit from the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity reports and communicate observed maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or security-related issues to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
