As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Threat Recognition Patrol in Pearl City, HI, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour

DayTimeWed01:30 PM - 11:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to passengers, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at public transit facilities and along rail corridors.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of stations, platforms, parking areas, administrative spaces, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe passenger activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, service disruptions, medical events, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting emergency services and/or site representatives as directed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required logs for patrols, incidents, observations, and interactions with the public.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
