Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Tablet Reporting in Palo Alto, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and property management personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial real estate buildings, common areas, parking facilities, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and vendor activity, and support compliance with property entry requirements and site policies.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, maintenance concerns, and security-related observations accurately in required reports and logs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
