Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol in Morganfield, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Armed Security Officer in a healthcare setting, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while responding to security-related needs with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following facility protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including interior areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with controlling entry to restricted areas in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and unusual conditions to Allied Universal leadership and designated site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
