Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Screening Analyst in Shepherdsville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener with Allied Universal in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help maintain a welcoming, professional environment by screening individuals and items, monitoring access points, and reporting unusual activity. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and support a security-related presence that helps deter incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-screening protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen individuals, packages, and deliveries entering the technology and media campus in accordance with established procedures, escalating unusual or prohibited items for further review.
• Verify visitor credentials, access authorizations, and required documentation while maintaining accurate records of screening activity and visitor flow.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, entrances, and adjacent perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
