Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Prevention Patrol in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a premier retail and shopping destination, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to guests, tenants, and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, retailers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout retail common areas, storefronts, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting observations.
• Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials as required, and assist with directing guests, deliveries, and vendors in accordance with site procedures.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and shift handoff information in alignment with Allied Universal and location requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
