Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Checkpoint in Loxahatchee, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a residential community, you will help maintain a welcoming, secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying visitor and resident access, and documenting security-related activity. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with residents and guests, and support routine patrols to help deter incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, maintain visitor and vendor records, and communicate access concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential community grounds, common areas, access points, and perimeter areas, with working conditions varying by location.
• Document daily activities, observations, incidents, and access-related issues in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is required.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21+ years of age for role.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
