Job Description

As a Security Guard Community Credential in Loxahatchee, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a residential community, you will help maintain a welcoming, controlled environment by monitoring entry points, verifying visitors and credentials, and documenting activity. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication to residents, guests, and staff while helping to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, vendors, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, community policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorization for guests and service providers, and maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to resident concerns, access-related incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; promptly communicate relevant information to site management and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, entry points, parking areas, and the community perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Maintain a professional presence at the access-control post, provide directions and assistance as needed, and follow Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21+ years of age for role.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
