What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a front desk within an aerospace and defense location, following site-specific access-control and security-related procedures.
• Greet visitors, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and direct guests in accordance with facility requirements.
• Monitor entry activity, receive and route calls, maintain visitor logs, and communicate relevant information to appropriate site personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate contacts.
• Help to deter unauthorized access by observing front-desk activity, reporting unusual conditions, and documenting security-related incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
