Assurant Unarmed Flex Security Officer in Lewisville, TX

Duties and responsibilities included but not limited to:

• Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general Unarmed security duties to our clients.
• MUST HAVE a Valid/Current State of Texas Non-Commissioned Level II Security License
• Promote safety by being alert to observe, correct, and report any hazards.
• Understand and comply with Prosegur and Client requirements, as well as specific post instructions.
• Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures.
• Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.
• This position will require you to be customer service oriented and have basic to intermediate computer skills, as well as effective written and oral communication skills.
• You must be able to perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all-weather elements as an Unarmed Security Officer.

Qualifications we are looking for:

• 18+ years of age
• High School Diploma or GED required
• MUST HAVE a Valid/Current State of Texas Non-Commissioned Level II Security License
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Capable of following complex instructions
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Willingness to participate in the company's screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Knowledge of security operations and procedures
• Must have open availability.

Important FLEX Position Expectations:

• Open availability is required. Officers must be willing and able to work days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays as operational needs require.
• This is an on-call FLEX position with no permanent schedule and no guaranteed weekly hours or shifts.
• When available, FLEX Officers are expected to remain on call and responsive to management when coverage is needed.
• Officers must communicate any known unavailability in advance rather than waiting until they are contacted for an assignment.
• Reliable transportation is required, as officers may be assigned to either the Assurant Lewisville or Assurant Irving location, including with short notice when necessary.
• Selected candidates will be required to review and sign a site-specific Assurant FLEX Officer Agreement acknowledging these expectations before beginning the assignment.
