Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time TWIC Credential Driver in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government waterfront location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and port personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of port facilities, waterfront areas, access points, parking areas, buildings, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and report access concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and public agencies when directed.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
