Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time TWIC Site Patrol Driver in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed Security Officer at a government port location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and/or maritime personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; promptly notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of port facilities, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and authorized access as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Observe and report hazards, unusual conditions, and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel while maintaining a professional presence in a dynamic government transportation environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
