Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time TWIC Vehicle Driver in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government port location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to authorized personnel, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a government port location while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminals, buildings, access points, parking areas, waterfront-adjacent areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor authorizations, and delivery documentation in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document observations and actions taken.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and daily reports with accurate details in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a TSA-issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
