Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Screening Operations in Hutchins, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor access points, screen personnel and visitors, and help maintain a secure environment. You will remain visible, communicate professionally, document incidents, and provide customer-focused support while helping to deter security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related screening protocols at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen individuals, packages, and/or property entering designated areas in accordance with established procedures, reporting prohibited items, irregularities, or policy concerns to site leadership.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials or authorizations as required, and maintain accurate visitor, delivery, and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including business operations and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
