Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver Field Response in Humble, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and Level III Armed Certification. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and employees while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a retail grocery location.
• Monitor access points, receiving areas, and customer entrances for authorized entry and unusual activity, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help deter theft, trespassing, and other unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; coordinate with store management, emergency responders, and law enforcement as needed.
• Complete accurate reports and activity logs, documenting incidents, observations, and actions taken in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
