As a Security Officer Full Time Lobby Screening in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a financial institution, you will be the welcoming presence for employees, visitors, and guests while supporting access control and badge procedures. You will monitor entry activity, respond to security-related concerns, provide exceptional customer service, and help maintain a professional environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution front desk while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Greet and direct visitors, verify identification and appointments as required, and maintain accurate visitor access records.
• Monitor access to the location, issue visitor credentials as authorized, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Support a professional and welcoming lobby environment by answering inquiries, receiving deliveries, and communicating relevant information to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortably use a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
