Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Driver in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Security Officer at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, access points, business offices, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports.
• Support a professional working environment by communicating observations and concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
