Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Risk Assessment in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to situations as they arise. This role requires a Level III Armed Certification in Texas and offers the opportunity to deliver exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and team members by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter.
• Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and potential hazards, helping to deter theft, trespassing, and other unauthorized activity.
• Carry and maintain assigned equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, applicable laws, and site-specific requirements, and complete accurate incident documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
