As an Armed Security Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and Level III Armed Certification. You will deliver exceptional customer service and communication while supporting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-focused, and integrity-driven culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Maintain an armed presence in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, site procedures, and Allied Universal training.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the grocery retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, receiving areas, and perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
