Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Monitoring in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a hotel and resort location, you will conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and assist guests, visitors, and staff with professionalism and care. You will communicate clearly, respond to security-related concerns, and support a welcoming environment. Pre-Employment Requirement: Security Experience - +1 Years (C115)

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to hotel guests, visitors, and staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of guest areas, public spaces, parking areas, building perimeters, and other assigned resort locations to help identify unusual activity and potential concerns.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout assigned areas, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and maintenance-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, and communicate professionally with hotel management, guests, staff, and responding emergency personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
