Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Clearance Eligible in Goleta, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a professional environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense billing operations location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned business areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures, documenting visitor, contractor, and delivery activity as required.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, observations, and security-related activities, following Allied Universal and site reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active DoD Secret clearance is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
