Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Screening Operations in Frisco, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by screening people and materials, monitoring assigned areas, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with team members, and support smooth operations. Pay Rate: $16.82 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees, visitors, packages, and/or vehicles in accordance with site procedures; verify credentials and document access activity as required.
• Monitor entry and exit points, loading areas, and screening equipment; report irregularities, prohibited items, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, trailer yard, loading areas, and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
