As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting an aero/defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This primarily driving post requires a valid driver’s license and offers the opportunity to deliver outstanding customer service, communicate professionally, and support a caring, reliable team at Allied Universal that acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense-related location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, parking locations, and access points to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate activity logs and incident documentation.
• Report observed hazards, unusual conditions, and/or security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
