Job Description

As a Security Officer Driver Security Services in Foster City, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer supporting a healthcare location. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help to deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to patients, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, patients, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access to healthcare and laboratory-related areas in accordance with site protocols, verifying credentials and directing authorized visitors.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, surrounding grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy concerns.
• Complete accurate reports, logs, and incident documentation; communicate observations and shift-related information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
