Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Vehicle Patrol in Elkton, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a healthcare-related location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report suspicious or unauthorized activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following established protocols.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, maintain activity logs, and communicate observations and concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
