Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Security Clearance in Elkton, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, respond to alarms, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain required entry and activity records for restricted areas.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
