Job Description

As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Observation in Culver City, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology-focused corporate location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, entrances, parking areas, perimeter locations, and other assigned areas to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and support visitor, contractor, and delivery processes in accordance with established site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate with appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
• Prepare clear, timely reports of patrol observations, incidents, and security-related concerns, and support emergency response activities when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
