As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a residential community, you will conduct routine bicycle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and provide helpful customer service to residents and visitors. You will communicate clearly, report security-related concerns, and support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, contractors, and/or visitors while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout residential common areas, streets, amenities, entry points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and contractor activity in accordance with community procedures.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and complete required reports.
• Communicate relevant security-related information to site management, Allied Universal leadership, and/or emergency responders as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience are required.
• Must be able to ride a bike.
• Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
